The Samsung Galaxy S5 got announced some few days ago at the MWC in Barcelona.According to a new report, it seems that Samsung is having some trouble putting together its new flagship the Galaxy S5. The main point of focus on this device was the fingerprint scanner, or rather the lack of supplier for it.
Samsung was reportedly planning on having a fingerprint scanner on its third generation Phablet the Note 3 smartphone last year but those plans fell through when Samsung could not get satisfactory results from its suppliers.
After that un appealing experience Samsung decided to head into production of its own fingerprint scanners for the next flagship Galaxy S5 but that seemingly didn’t go quite so well either the company had to resort to once again on a supplier for the scanners, but in this case Crucialtec.
These companies are said to sign a contract soon, and this should just be in time before the S5 hits production and goes on sale in April because we would not want one failed scanner just as the Note 3 .
