Root The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini


Samsung released the Galaxy S3 mini,some time ago it was basically for people who wanted to get themselves the Galaxy S3 but couldn't afford.The S3 mini is comparably smaller and cheaper than the S3 mini with a  4.0 inch display, 5 Mega-Pixel camera, 1 GHZ Processor, 1 GB RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.Now I am going to show you how to Root and install CWM on it.




 
Because of its smaller size and affordability , the Galaxy S3 Mini has gained a lot of popularity among Android fans as well as the developers. Developers over at XDA have started working on methods to root Galaxy S3 Mini and good news is that they were successful in that. There are many ways of rooying this phone but I wil give you the safest and easiest  way.

NB :please keep in mind that rooting voids warranty,this means that you will not be able to claim warranty for a rooted device.

Requirements
  • A fully charged mobile phone,or at least 80%.
  • Enabled USB debugging(Settings –> Manage Applications –> Development –> USB Debugging.)
  • To stay safe back up all your data 
  • Download and install kies for your phones latest drivers
 Procedures to root the Galaxy S3 mini
We will first install CWM Recovey on it,we will later root it with rookit.
Installing CWM
  • Download and install rookit
  •  After installation connect your phone to the PC
  • Select the Toolkit.exe file and click NO when it asks for an update
  • Select your phone model and android version then proceed
  • You will come by many options select the option 2 for rooting
  • In the next window select “Flash Custom Recovery + Install Root via Recovery” ,It will start to install CWM on your device,you will receive a notification when it is done
  • Now we have installed CWM on your device
Rooting the Galaxy S3 mini
  • Download the root package and transfer in onto your sd-card
  • Turn off your phone wait for about 10 second and boot into recovery
  • Boot into recovery by holding  the Volume Up + Home + Power Button 
  • In the main recovery window select option “install zip from sd card” and then browse for the file you have transfered onto your phone SD card
  • When the process is done go back to the main recovery menu and reboot the phone
Congratulation,your phone has been rooted and CWM Recovery has been installed on it.
After this long process i think you should get your self a nice cool drink.
Rooting helps you to use custom roms and apps that require root.
